Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
Since playing his first solo gig in 2004, Frank has played over 2800 shows all over the world. His biggest UK headline shows include London’s O2 Arena and the world famous Wembley Arena. He has performed at almost every UK venue imaginable, from tiny clubs to stadiums and was even chosen by Danny Boyle to perform at the opening ceremony of 2012 Olympic Games.
Internationally Frank has played headline shows in all continents with big followings across Europe and North America. He completed the ambitious 50 States in 50 Days tour in 2022 – the first non-US citizen to do so and his award-winning 4-day festival, Lost Evenings took place in Anaheim, California in 2023. The city-based, multi-venue event will be in Toronto in 2024 - tickets on sale 8th December 2023.
During the pandemic, Frank raised over £200K for struggling grassroot music venues with his weekly series of livestreams. This resulted in him winning the Music Venue Trust’s award for Outstanding Achievement for Grassroots Music Venues. He has also won two AIM Awards, one Kerrang! Award and has been nominated for numerous NME Awards.
Before that though, the band are busy writing and recording their sixth studio album. Their trademark shanty punk style will be front and centre of the new record, with the songs telling tales of live shows and travelling on the road. Due for release in the Autumn on Xtra Mile Recordings alongside a UK headline tour, further details on both will be unveiled soon.
SKINNY LISTER released their previous album ‘A Matter Of Life & Love’ in 2021. The album entered Top 10 in the Official Indie Album Breakers Chart and No. 29 in Indie album Chart. The single ‘Damn The Amsterdam’ was added to ‘New In Rock’ Apple playlist and ‘A Matter Of Life & Love’ was ‘video of the day’ on Spin website in US.
Since then the band have performed across the UK with sold out headline tours, supported punk legends Less Than Jake, toured Europe and performed at many summer festivals, including Kendal Calling and Wickham Festival.
The band’s career continues to see them passing the growing flagon of their experiences with every album and tour. They’ve led an endless parade gathering fans old and new, from the respected folk circuit to the riotous Download Festival, igniting pogoing mosh-pits at each. Over the past ten years they’ve travelled from rain-soaked London to the vast arteries of the USA, upgrading from narrow boat to Salty Dog Cruise, played huge tours across Europe and North America with Frank Turner, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly as well as headlining themselves across festivals, sweatboxes and ever-larger venues.
