Misfits
Misfits
From the hell they came… 30 years ago in a small town in New Jersey called Lodi. It was there, at the dawn of the punk movement in April 1977, that the Misfits were born. Taking for their name the title of Marilyn Monroe's final movie, they set out to make an impression. They wound up making history and creating a legacy which has withstood the test of time. Today, boasting a massive catalog of music old and new, a new lineup and an influence felt around the world, the Misfits are generating more interest than ever before.

From its inception, the Misfits were primal. Their music was aggressive, confrontational and dangerous with violent lyrics as seen through the eyes of a monster, coupled with timeless vocal melodies bred from 1950’s rock and roll. Immortalizing black and white B horror films in their music, the Misfits developed a ghoulish and totally unique persona, from their hand made musical weapons to the stiletto hairstyle they called the “devil locks.” It was the early days of punk and they had created a rebellion all their own.

Thirty years on, the Misfits have endured hardcore’s heyday as punk rock’s monster squad, a band whose cult following – a pseudo-secret coven known as the Fiend Club – inspired them to continue to write, record and tour. These “Fiends” (as their fans are known), which are still multiplying globally, go back now several generations and also includes many artists. In fact, bands across the spectrum of rock have offered their tribute by covering the band’s material, including Guns ‘n Roses, with the classic Misfits song "Attitude;" My Chemical Romance who revisited the classic “Astro Zombies” for the soundtrack to “Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland” video game; Hatebreed with their namesake song “Hate Breeders” on their upcoming Fall 2008 release “For The Lions” and Metallica who covered no less than three Misfits songs on their double CD set "Garage Days Revisited," while hailing the band as a key influence on their music. A tribute album entitled VIOLENT WORLD featured the likes of Prong, NOFX and Sick of It All.
Winchester Rebels
Winchester Rebels
Winchester Rebels were formed in the backwoods of Santa Barbara California In the fall of 2009. Nick Hunt, (lead vocals) and John Livergood (bass) had discussed putting a band together for years. One cold and rainy night they stumbled out of their home town bar, the Maverick Saloon, and ran into Nick Fitzgerald an old pal who had just been thrown out because of a bar fight. They immediately knew he was the guitar player they wanted. It was good timing since he to was looking to start a band. After a couple of practices they started talking about incorporating a second guitar sound into the mix. Fitzgerald then asked pal, (guitarist/banjo) player James Longoria to join the project, and he stepped in without hesitation. Finally, Fitzgerald connected with drummer and childhood friend Barry Carter (who was living in orange county at the time) and asked him to join the group. He accepted, moved to Santa Barbara and the lineup was completed. In due time they realized that though they all had mothers from another, they were no doubt cut from the same whiskey soaked cloth. Since those humble beginnings WR has played hundreds of local shows, toured nationally and participated in multiple radio station interviews. Winchester Rebels has been compared to the likes of Kings of Leon, Atlas Genius, Incubus, Alice In Chains and the Black Keys just to name a few. Be sure to check them out at a show near you.
Neblina
With a strong and consistent career featuring a hard rock sound, NEBLINA is quickly becoming a strong presence in the Los Angeles rock scene.

The band, composed of Carlos García (guitar and vocal), Sergio “Kekys” Estrada (Bass) and Daniel Sánchez (drums), got together on 2002, when these three high school friends shared their dream to form a rock band.

Determined to succeed in their chosen career, NEBLINA started performing at local bars, with a memorable first show at The All American Legion Sports bar at the end of that year.

For the band, the following years were invested in finding and defining an identity as a group. Their influences range from Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, and Metallica to rock-en-Español legend Caifanes, all who inspired NEBLINA’s powerful rock sound.

By 2006, NEBLINA had forged a path ahead and with what experience they had, the members decided to compete at ‘La Batalla de Las Bandas’ (‘Battle of The Bands”) sponsored by Heineken and presented by Rick Ortiz Productions. The group’s quality was a stand-out, noticeable by the public’s reaction and the judges responded by awarding them first place in the competition.

Thanks to this award, NEBLINA released its first album titled "Otra Realidad" in 2007; this album was introduced at the House of Blues/Hollywood to acclaimed success.

During its nine-year career, NEBLINA has shared the stage with important rock personalities, such as B real of Cypress Hill, Slash, McQueen and Matt Sorum ex Guns and Roses, The Cult and Velvet Revolver; as well as sharing the stage with Latin American rock heavy weights like Molotov (2009, 2011), Enrique Bunbury (2010), Moderatto (2010) Lucybell (2009), and Bersuit (2006), Los Amigos Invisibles, Jumbo, Boombox, Montenegro, Ceci Batista, Pastilla and Auditivo.

One of the highlights of their career was a performance shared with The Master Javier Batiz, with whom they performed for two nights in the city of Santa Ana, CA, the first time in front of 50,000 people on a Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) celebration and the second time at the famous rock club The Whisky A Go-Go of Hollywood.

One of their most recent performances was at the Sunset Strip Music Fest, in which they had the honor of being the only Spanish speaking rock group selected to participate.

NEBLINA’s music was also welcomed in Mexico City stages of the Hard Rock Café, Doverman, Rock House in Toluca, a city to which they will return soon and where the band also stopped by the prominent radio program Grita Radio in 2008.

Total Chaos
Total Chaos
Thirty years ago, TOTAL CHAOS was founded in Pomona Valley, California to save the dying genre of punk rock, which was commercialized at the time. The band did not want to lose the style, but especially their space to express political and social views. They came up with the idea that punk brings social responsibility by organizing "peace punk" picnics or demonstrations against the Gulf War. Their music had a meaning and stood for something. Today TOTAL CHAOS has seen many things come and go - but they have stuck to these ideals all this time. Whether you are pop punk, street punk, hardcore, straight edge, political punk, goth punk, skate punk, crust punk, metal punk, straight punk rock (and so on), TOTAL CHAOS unites you all into one scene PUNK-ROCK!
