What makes Robot Nature special is their use of modern production techniques and programming blended with real instruments, melding various styles to create their own unique pop sound. Lead singer DPAK flawlessly switches from playing the guitar to ripping a solo on the violin, making him an extraordinary front man in this pop landscape. As a unified force, they are driven by a deep desire to create the unexpected, moving fluidly between genres to produce their own energized alt-pop rock music.
Now in 2018, Robot Nature has scored a ten city tour sponsored by Reverb Nation and Air BnB, produced by SoulfulofNoise, starting in Southern California in San Diego and Los Angeles. They are about to release their first single, “Do You Wanna Be a Star” which was produced by Fredrik Halland (Justin Bieber, Colbie Caillat) and mixed by Marc Desisto (U2, Michelle Branch). Now sponsored by Karma Tequila, Robot Nature presents a consistently powerful live show, and is ready to explode on the global music scene in 2018.
The Robots are coming…
Soon after, the band desired a heavier approach, and added a new vocalist, Joshua Valencia. With a new found take on their music, the band went on to release their debut EP titled Scars in February of 2013. Featuring 5 songs and around 29 minutes of content, the EP was well received and includes long running fan-favorites.
The band then released a follow up EP titled "Coast to Coast" featuring a quick take on both of their established sounds.
What came next was a period of growth, as the band remained active, they began to write and prepare for a full release. Writing began in late 2014 and was not completed until early 2016. It was around this time that second guitarist, Omar Lopez, joined the band. They then spent over a year in the studio, polishing their craft and developing their sound to it's fullest potential. What resulted was their latest work "Perspectives". Released in April of 2017, the album was finally complete after years of work. Featuring 10 songs and an expansive take on the genre, the album delivers and has been widely received.
Soon after the release, the band saw the departure of Richard Galvan (Drums). Joshua Valencia has now taken both roles of Drums and lead vocals.
The band continues to support their album with their latest music video "The Losing Feeling" releasing 09/27/2017. While support for the album is planned for the next year with additional videos and shows to be announced, the band is also gearing up for a follow-up album, going into pre-production by the end of 2017.
