Burlesque Jambor Tease
Burlesque JamborTease!

Dr. Shocker is back with a great group of ladies ready too take the Ventura Theater with “All the Tease None of the Sleaze”. This retro burlesque show is always guaranteed to titalate even the most reserved in the audience. Combined with his own sense of unique showmanship will make even the dreariest of winter nights a midsummer nights dream! All at the Majestic Ventura Theatre in DownTown Ventura.

Neo-Burlesque (or “New Burlesque”) is the revival and updating of the traditional burlesque performance. Though based on the traditional Burlesque art, the new form encompasses a wider range of performance styles; Neo-burlesque acts can be anything from classic striptease to
modern dance to theatrical mini-dramas to comedic mayhem. As with the earlier burlesque, neo-burlesque is more focused on the “tease” in “striptease” rather than the “strip”.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

TooMuchCoffeeCast is Ventura County's longest running Rocky cast. We're neither screen accurate nor sober. We do it for fun and we're good at what we do.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 British musical comedy horror film directed by Jim Sharman. The screenplay was written by Sharman and Richard O'Brien based on the 1973 musical stage production The Rocky Horror Show, music, book, and lyrics by O'Brien. The production is a parody tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through early 1970s. The film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick along with cast members from the original Royal Court Theatre, Roxy Theatre, and Belasco Theatre productions.
The story centres on a young engaged couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle where they seek a telephone to call for help. The castle is occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. They discover the head of the house is Frank N. Furter, an apparent mad scientist who actually is an alien transvestite who creates a living muscle man in his laboratory. The couple is seduced separately by the mad scientist and eventually released by the servants who take control.
