QUESTION:

How can I find out about up and coming shows?

ANSWER:

There are many ways you can find out about our up and coming shows. You can check here for the latest additions, as well as  our Facebook, or you can follow us on Twitter. Also, check out the weekly Ventura Theater strip ad In the Santa Barbara News Press, Santa Barbara Independent, Ventura County Star, Ventura County Reporter, and the every week. Or go to Ticketfly.com and search for Ventura Theatre.

QUESTION:

How does WILL CALL ticketing work?

ANSWER:

If you purchase tickets through ticketfly, and you have selected the WILL CALL option the tickets will be available to you after 5PM on the day of the show at the Ventura Theater Box office. Remember to check your receipt to be sure that you have selected the WILL CALL option, and not the RETAIL PICKUP LOCATION option. We will not have your tickets ready if you have selected the latter. It is always a good idea to bring your order number, and/or receipt as well.

QUESTION:

My friend cannot make it to the show. How do I pick up his or her
tickets from Will Call?

ANSWER:

Present a photocopy of the original purchaser’s identification and credit card and a signed note expressing permission for you to pick up his/her tickets. Please note that you will not be able to pick up the order without this.

QUESTION:

My friend won tickets on the radio, but cant make it. Can I pick up those tickets?

ANSWER:

No. Tickets won on a radio station giveaway are absolutely non-transferable.

QUESTION:

Do you have wheelchair access?

ANSWER:

Yes, our staff will escort you and facilitate your entrance to the Theater.

QUESTION:

Is food available?

ANSWER:

Yes. The Ventura Theatre has food available,which includes: Nachos, Personal Pizza, Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, and other food. Check with our food stand to see what else may be available that night.

QUESTION:

Is there a bar?

ANSWER:

Yes, we have a full bar. You must get a wristband and prove that you are 21 or older to drink

QUESTION:

How can I purchase tickets for a Ventura Theatre show?

ANSWER:

You may purchase our tickets on the ticketfly website, or charge by phone (805) 653-0721. All Ventura Theatre show tickets are also sold at the Ventura Theater Box Office, Tuesday – Friday 11:00am – 6:00pm, unless we have a show, which means our hours will be longer.

QUESTION:

What are the Ventura Theatre BOX OFFICE HOURS?

ANSWER:

The Ventura Theatre Box Office is open 11:00am – 6:00pm Tuesday – Friday. On show nights the box office may stay open later, depending on the show.

QUESTION:

How can I pay for my tickets at the Ventura Theatre Box Office?

ANSWER:

The Ventura Theatre Box Office accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. No Checks, no American Express.

QUESTION:

Are there any age restrictions to see a show at the Ventura Theatre?

ANSWER:

The Majority of our shows are all ages, however there is a possibilty that there may be an age restriction on one of our upcoming events. Please call to be sure before purchasing tickets. We do not have a “babes in arms” policy. so all admissions must be paid. Also, children under the age of 11 should be wearing protective ear gear, and if you forget, we sell earplugs in the lobby.

QUESTION:

Is there smoking inside the theatre?

ANSWER:

Absolutely not. The Ventura Theatre is a non-smoking venue, per California state law. But there is a Smoking Section located outside.

QUESTION:

Are Cameras allowed?

ANSWER:

Most shows are personal point and shoot only. If it can’t fit in your pocket, or has detachable lenses its a no go. Some shows do not allow any, and some artists do not even like you to use your cell phone camera. We do not make these rules, and we will enforce the Artists requests. Also, at no time do we allow GoPro style or “Selfie Sticks”.
